New to us?
If you are new to the Weald – welcome! This is a beautiful part of the world, and we all love the communities that we live in. Church on the Weald is a Bible-believing and Spirit-filled church family that seeks to bring the love and good news of Jesus Christ to the towns and villages of the Weald.
As a church family, we are made up of people of different ages, backgrounds, and experiences. Some have been following Jesus for almost all their lives, while others have just begun to explore the claims of Christianity or are beginning that journey of faith.
Whether you would describe yourself as a Christian or not, hopefully this website will be able to answer some of the questions that you might have about who we are, what we believe, what our vision is, where we meet, what we do, and why.
However, the best way to find out more is to join us at one of our Sunday gatherings. We would love to meet you so that we can get to know you better and help you to make contact with others in Church on the Weald who may live in your village or nearby. We appreciate that turning up to a church (or any place for that matter) for the first time takes some courage, but everyone is welcome and we hope that you will find our church family warm and friendly.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get in touch and find out more.
We meet from 11am every Sunday morning, starting with coffee and pastries and end by 12:30pm
Join us every Sunday in the Rainbow Room, Tenterden Leisure Centre, Recreation Ground Road, Tenterden, TN30 6RA
If you choose to park in the Leisure Centre car park you can obtain a refund for the parking at the reception.
If you are new to Christianity or still exploring what you believe, you are very welcome amongst us. We hope that you will find you can ask any question and find plenty of people who are happy to share their experiences with you. To differing degrees, we have all had questions, doubts or scepticism about the Christian faith and we believe that everybody should have the opportunity to express and explore these.
This could be through our Christianity Unwrapped course, by coming along to our Sunday morning meetings, or connecting with people local to you in one of our mid-week life groups that meet in people’s homes.
